Lesser as legislation chair of the Florida Bar Board of Governors. The 52-member board of governors has exclusive authority to formulate and adopt matters of policy concerning the activities of the Bar.

Mr. Lesser and State Attorney Dave Aronberg are the only two members to be reappointed to positions this year. “I’m very honored to work with the Bar to make sure we have an independent, properly funded court system and honored to get this reappointment, because it is such a rare occurrence” said Mr. Lesser.

Mr. Lesser is the third generation at Lesser Lesser Landy and Smith. His grandfather started the firm in 1927. Now, as managing partner, Mr. Lesser concentrates on personal injury law.

He also volunteers on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Parent Television Council, Young Singers of the Palm Beaches and the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, among others. ¦
