Marinelife Center eliminates plastic bottles from campus

Loggerhead Marinelife Center has discontinued selling plastic bottles on campus, and sells only sustainably packaged beverages, including beverages served at its Tortuga Café. It is the first establishment to participate in the center’s Ocean Friendly Restaurant program, set to launch this month.

Eliminating plastic bottles from Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s campus will keep thousands of single-use bottles out of landfills and the ocean.
